MGB Endoskopische Gerate GmbH Berlin is a part of the MGB family which has alliance with Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Seoul. MGB engages in manufacturing of high-quality endoscopic equipment for minimal-invasive surgery and exports both accessories and complete systems to about 30 countries world-wide. The products are being manufactured in MGB's own production facility, their long lasting quality is based on technological know-how and mechanical precision. Thus, the high integration of all systems is guaranteed.

MGB takes an active role in research. With its own R&D department MGB was able to develop products that have set new standards in endo-surgery. Several projects have been funded by the German government and are being tested by leading German university professors and clinics.

With a qualified team of developers and skilled workers the MGB produces endoscopic systems and components for the laparoscopy, arthroscopy, urology and gynaecology. They are compatible to most currently existing systems. The constant quality is assured by EN ISO 9001/EN 13485 certification.

Among other interesting products which you will see in the enclosed summary, the MGB is the exclusive manufacturer of the Shadow telescope world-wide. This telescope creates a three-dimensional picture by using images of light and shadow and thus produces a more plastic picture compared to two-dimansional images. As a result, the operating time and failure rate during surgery can be reduced significantly.

Further, the MGB produce some compact units, for example the world First Integrated Laparoscopic Surgical System, the FENCER . This device combines a CCD-Video Camera, a Xenon-Light source, an insufflator and irrigator in ONE unit and each part works independent of the other.

Since March 1 st , 2004 MGB is the official Representative of Bionet Co., Ltd., in Europe and is responsible for sales and customer service for their ECG machines, Patient- and Fetal Monitoring System.
